Beautiful balance throughout presenting a graceful elegance that could deliver all the power needed on the move. Move true for & aft effortlessly covering ground which just got better the more he moved.

Baucutt’s Chinese Crested, Despinia Poetry and Prose, 11 month old Powder Puff lady had an elegant look with mature movement & was unlucky to meet the BP. Well balanced with a lovely feminine enquiring expression, totally in harmony with her handler. Move true covering ground with a long flowing movement with plenty of drive.

Wombwell & District Canine Society Open Show Saturday 12 July 2014 Held at Paces Campus, Pack Horse Lane, High Green, Sheffield. Thank you to the society and all the exhibitors who gamely accepted my decisions to my ring steward Colin Woodward who kept me on my toes and the ring moving. We were 2nd in the ring after the Gundog group so needed to keep on time not to delay Best in Show judging.
Beagle Puppy 1. Dawson & Goodall’s Janfrey Randal Upon Rundle young, tri coloured, male. Sturdy, alert dog. Clean head, free of any wrinkle, well shaped dark eye, good defined stop, wide open nostrils, with dark pigmentation. Level topline, well muscled and supple loin. Nicely muscled hindquarters and ample bend at stifle. Good size. BP Puppy Group 3 2. Emmett & Simons Karaliah Breaking Dawn young bitch very feminine, well set tail, preferred the bone of first. PG 1. Lovatt’s Bjornhagen Royal Jasmine Pleasing feminine head dark eye giving an alert intelligent expression. Good chest enough strong of bone. Slightly longer in loin. 2. Clifton’s Dialynne Forever Watson at Lemoncroft young dog with time on his side, good bone to build on and tight feet to carry him. Open 1. Lovatt’s Bjornhagen Jalapeno Chilli ShCM Pleasing head broad slightly domes skull, clear stop, strong muzzle with correct scissor bite, full chest, nice spring of rib and little tuck up. Well bent stifles and firm positive movement. BoB Adult Group 3 2. Clifton’s Dialynne Forever Holmes at Lemoncroft. Young tri male mouth not his fortune. Whippet P. 1.Newton’s Nut Toffee of Nevadith just 7 months Brindle she was quietly confident. Long lean head with oval dark eyes giving a gentle expression, elegant muscular neck, suitably laid shoulders and flat muscle, straight healthy boned legs to well knuckled oval feet. Distinctly filled forechest with good depth, strong muscled loin and clean arch. Well bent stifles giving a graceful driving action. BP BoB Adult Group 1 & Puppy Group 1 Thrilled she went on to achieve RBIS and BPIS 2. Pell’s Martdia Captain Midnight dog good head and dark oval eye well set rose ears, enough bone, and well knuckled feet. Shorter in loin, good tuck up. PG. 1. Drury’s Rotherdal Morris Dancer Pleasing hound head would prefer a darker eye, long clean arched neck. Well muscled throughout, moved well . Open 1. Newton’s Jenaul Nutella of Nevedith Striking bitch smaller in type than overall winner. Good head and expression well held rose ears. Suitably held topline on the move. 2. Pell’s Flopys Aidebaran Very feminine bitch moved with power and freedom. AVNSC Hound Puppy 1. Elkington’s Khamis Pajamadrama at Sutina 11 month Afghan Developing very nicely but very much a puppy today. Lovely long skull and foreface, darkest of eye giving typical expression of being aristocratic and aloof. Good sized feet covered with long thick hair. When settled he moved with the greatest of ease, powerful well bent stifles giving smooth springy action. BP Puppy Group 3. 1 PG Thompson’s Pahlevi Columbus Afghan. Typical expression, dark triangular shaped eye, strong neck and flowing topline, not the extension in movement and at times paced. 2. Alderson’s Bunnywood Athena. Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) very feminine head, large dark eyes strong jaw and good scissor bite. Long well muscled neck into shoulders, good depth of chest and enough bone. A little more bend of stifle would help. Good rough coat and well furnished. Open 1. Alderson’s Haliston Yasmine at Bunnywood. Basset Griffon Vendeen (Petit) Lovely head and intelligent expression. Large oval eyes and long eyebrows, well set ears in line with eye. Strong clean shoulders and straight forelegs with just enough bone. Good rear angulation giving powerful driving action. Developing well in head slight stop well shaped almond dark eye. Erect ears used well, strong jaw scissor bite. Strong bone and well shaped rounded toes. Good depth of chest. He moved with positive sound action for one so young. 2. Brandon & Trewick Shaquile Northern Lady at Lornaville GSD litter sister to dog. Open 1 Haine & Vidler’s Brightmeadow Power of Love GSD Mature dog with wedge shaped head, powerful muzzle and clear well set teeth. Pleasant forechest, giving plenty of heart and lung room. Agreeable shoulders with ample bone to good feet. In profile he moved with strength and drive covering the ground with ease from behind he was firm, straight and true. Please to award him BAVNSC Pastoral and Group 1 2. Kellett & Eaglen’s Briard. Well shaped head with skull slightly rounded, clear dark eyes. Strong muscular neck into topline, well boned legs to firm slightly rounded feet. Nicely sprung ribs, she had a good black coat with dense under coat, which I believe she was feeling a little warm today and could change places on another day.
